"From steel tubes to the Mont Ventoux" After 6 days of 'hot' work (brazing, finishing...) the frame, fork and the stem were finished. The frame finish is clear powder coat to show all the work - RAW was born. I assembled Mavic CXP33 wheels with Campa record hubs and a 11-Speed Chorus Group set. In September 2013 RAW was on top of the Mont Ventoux. The climb was exhausting but worth having an amazing downhill ride.
During my rides some nice films were taken. The nicest one is the clip from a singlespeed night ride in Hamburg. And for sure the downhill ride at the Mt. Ventoux.
Usually I take photographs from my bikes during and after the building process. I prefer taking the pics in the industrial areas of Hamburg.
At bikespresso you find nice galleries of photographs showing my individual custom built bicycles. To design and build a nice bike I need a wonderful hand pressed coffee to relax. In order to make perfect photographs of the finished bikes, a good camera is needed as well. The site shows stories about the building process and action movies too. A special link list with custom bike builders, my favorite bike sites and brands are listed as well.
